According to the Complaint, Arconic Corporation was a publicly-traded provider of aluminum sheets, plates, and extrusions, as well as innovative architectural products. This lawsuit was filed against Arconic and three individual Defendants.

On May 4, 2023, Arconic announced that it had entered into an agreement to be acquired by Apollo Global Management, Inc. in an all-cash transaction. The merger eventually closed on August 18, 2023, with Apollo acquiring Arconic for $30 per share.

The Complaint alleges that throughout the Class Period, Defendants issued materially false and misleading statements and omitted material facts necessary to make Defendants’ statements not false or misleading, and otherwise failed to disclose information they had a duty to disclose, causing the price of Arconic’s common stock to be artificially depressed or deflated.

On June 21, 2025, the Court issued an Order appointing Lead Plaintiff and Counsel.
