This case is a class action against several allegedly sham hemp and cannabis real estate businesses and individuals that the Plaintiff claims were involved in a crowdfunding scheme that fraudulently raised nearly $2 million.

One of the Company Defendants, TruCrowd, Inc. dba Fundanna, is an SEC-registered funding portal for crowdfunding offerings. Another Defendant, 420 Real Estate, LLC, purports to be a real estate company that specializes in the acquisition and leasing of properties that support the hemp industry. The third Company Defendant is Transatlantic Real Estate, LLC, which purported to be a real estate company that specialized in the acquisition and leasing of properties that support the medical cannabis industry.

The Complaint alleges that the individual Defendants made misleading and false statements and omissions to investors in connection with the crowdfunding offerings, and seeks civil penalties, disgorgement, damages, attorney fees and a jury trial.

The Plaintiff in this case filed an amended Complaint on December 28, 2023. On January 8, 2024, the Plaintiff filed a second amended Complaint. The Plaintiff filed a Motion to Dismiss the case on August 8. On October 17, the Court issued an Order granting Plaintiff's Motion to Dismiss the case.
