Plaintiff brings this action on behalf of the class of persons, trusts, or entities who purchased a life settlement investment from Defendants during the Class Period.

The Complaint alleges Defendants misrepresented the financial risks of the products they sold to investors, failed to disclose material information about future premiums, and overstated the safety and benefits of the investments.

The case was initially filed in the Superior Court of the State of California before being removed to the United States District Court for the Central District of California.

On February 23, the Court dismissed one of the Defendants. On March 16, the Court dismissed another Defendant.

On April 7, 2023, the Court issued an Order consolidating cases. The cases were consolidated under Docket 23-CV-00460.

Plaintiff filed a second Amended Complaint on April 21, 2023. Plaintiff voluntarily dismissed one of the individual Defendants on July 20.

On December 1, 2023, the Court issued another Order consolidating cases and appointing interim Class Counsel. The cases were consolidated under Docket 23-CV-08577. Plaintiffs filed an Amended Complaint on December 15.

Plaintiffs filed a second Amended Complaint on March 20, 2024.

Plaintiffs filed a Motion for Class Certification on June 14, 2024. On August 22, the Court issued an Order denying the Motion for Class Certification.

On April 18, 2025, Plaintiff filed a third Amended Complaint.
