According to the Complaint, Blink Charging Company purports to be “a leading owner, operator, and provider of electric vehicle (‘EV’) charging equipment and networked charging services. Blink offers both residential and commercial EV charging equipment, enabling EV drivers to easily recharge at various location types.”

The Complaint alleges that during the Class Period, Defendants misled investors by misrepresenting and/or failing to disclose that: (i) many of Blink’s charging stations are damaged, neglected, non-functional, inaccessible, nor non-accessible; (ii) Blink’s purported partnerships and expansions with other companies were overstated; (iii) the purported growth of the Company’s network has been overstated; (iv) as a result, the Company’s public statements were materially false and misleading at all relevant times.

On September 30, 2020, the Court issued an Order consolidating cases. All future docketing was ordered to be done in the lead case 20-CV-23527.

On December 21, 2020, the Court issued an Order appointing Co-Lead Plaintiffs and Counsel. Lead Plaintiffs filed a consolidated amended Complaint on February 19, 2021. Defendants filed a Motion to Dismiss the consolidated amended Complaint on April 20. On November 27, 2023, the Court issued an Order granting in part and denying in part Defendants' Motion to Dismiss.

The parties entered into a Stipulation and Agreement of Settlement on June 28, 2024. The Court granted preliminary approval of the Settlement on July 9. On October 21, the Court granted final approval of the Settlement, including an award of Attorneys’ Fees and Expenses, and entered Final Judgment.
