HMS Holdings Corp. ("HMS or the Company") operates as a holding company. The Company, through its subsidiaries, provides proprietary information management and data processing products and services in the healthcare field.

According to the law firm press release, the lawsuit alleges Defendants throughout the Class Period made false and/or misleading statements and/or failed to disclose that: (1) HMS lacked effective internal control over financial reporting; and (2) as a result, HMS’s financial statements were materially false and misleading at all relevant times. When the true details entered the market, the lawsuit claims that investors suffered damages.

This case was transferred to the Northern District of Texas on May 19, 2017.
