Misonix, Inc. designs, develops and manufactures an array of therapeutic ultrasonic medical devices.

According to the law firm press release, the lawsuit alleges that throughout the Class Period, Misonix made false and/or misleading statements and/or failed to disclose that: (1) deficiencies existed in Misonix’s internal controls over financial reporting; and (2) as a result, Defendants’ statements about Misonix’s business, operations and prospects were materially false and misleading and/or lacked a reasonable basis at all relevant times. When the true details entered the market, the lawsuit claims that investors suffered damages.

On March 24, 2017, the Court issued an Order appointing Lead Plaintiffs and Counsel.

On June 23, 2017, the parties entered into a Stipulation of Settlement. The Court granted preliminary approval of the Settlement on September 7 and entered Final Judgment on December 16. On July 6, 2018, the Court issued an Order granting Plaintiffs' Motion for Disbursement of Funds.
