Natural Health Trends Corp. offers personal care and wellness products through direct selling and e-commerce channels.

According to the law firm press release, the lawsuit alleges that throughout the Class Period, Defendants issued false and misleading statements to investors and/or failed to disclose that: (1) the operations of Natural Health Trends’ Chinese entity is not in compliance with applicable Chinese laws; and (2) as a result, Defendants’ statements about Natural Health Trends’ business, operations, and prospects were false and misleading and/or lacked a reasonable basis at all relevant times. When the true details entered the market, the lawsuit claims that investors suffered damages.

On March 29, 2016, the Court issued an Order appointing lead Plaintiffs and approving lead counsel. Lead Plaintiffs filed a consolidated complaint on April 29.

The parties entered into a Stipulation of Settlement on October 3, 2017. Preliminary approval was granted on November 16.

On April 2, 2018, the Court granted Plaintiff's Motion for Attorney Fees. The Court granted final approval of the Settlement and entered Final Judgment on April 6. On April 26, 2019, the Court issued an Order approving the Settlement distribution plan.
