Roadrunner Transportation Systems, Inc. is an American transportation company. Considered a less-than-truckload (LTL) carrier, it specializes in long-haul, metro-to-metro shipping.

According to the law firm press release, the lawsuit alleges that throughout the Class Period, Defendants issued materially false and misleading statements to investors and/or failed to disclose that: (1) the avian flu epidemic would have an adverse impact on Roadrunner Transportation Systems’ financial condition; and (2) as a result, Defendants’ statements about Roadrunner Transportation Systems’ business, operations, and prospects were materially false and misleading and/or lacked a reasonable basis at all relevant times. When the true details entered the market, the lawsuit claims that investors suffered damages.

On January 22, 2016, the Court issued an Order granting voluntary dismissal of this case by Plaintiff.
