The Dolan Company provides professional services and business information to legal, financial and real estate sectors in the United States.

According to the Complaint, throughout the Class Period, Defendants made false and/or misleading statements, as well as failed to disclose material adverse facts about the Company’s business, operations, and prospects. Specifically, Defendants made false and/or misleading statements and/or failed to disclose: (1) that the Company’s operating results and financial condition were deteriorating; (2) that the Company was no longer a going concern; and (3) that, as a result of the foregoing, the Company’s positive statements about its business, operations, and prospects were materially false and misleading and/or lacked a reasonable basis.

On March 25, 2015, the Court issued an Order dismissing this case with prejudice.

On February 15, 2016, the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit reversed in part and affirmed in part the judgment of the district court and remanded this case.

On March 17, 2017, Plaintiffs and an individual Defendant entered into a Stipulation of Settlement. This Settlement was preliminarily approved on May 5. The Court entered Final Judgment on August 15. On August 21, 2018, the Court issued an Order granting Plaintiffs' Motion for distribution of Class Settlement funds.
