Global Geophysical Services, Inc. ("GGS") is an American company that provides land and shallow marine seismic data acquisition services to the global oil and gas industry.

According to a law firm press release, on March 18, 2014, GGS announced it would restate its annual financial statements for the years ended December 31 2009, 2010, 2011, and 2012, as well as its quarterly financial statements for the first three quarters of 2013. For the three months ended September 30, 2013, GGS announced that the restatement would decrease revenues by $5.0 million. Following this news shares of GGS fell to a close of $0.57 per share the following day.

On July 11, 2014, the Court issued an Order administratively closing this case as to the issuer Defendant only.

On July 14, 2014, the Court issued an Order appointing lead Plaintiff and approving the selection of lead Counsel.

On August 24, 2015, the parties entered a Stipulation of Settlement. The Settlement was preliminarily approved on October 6. On January 14, 2016, the Court issued an Order granting final approval of the Settlement and dismissing this case.
