GrowLife Inc. is an American company that provides hydroponic growing equipment to medicinal mushroom and marijuana cultivation facilities.

According to the law firm press release, the lawsuit alleges that GrowLife issued materially false and misleading statements about its true financial condition. On April 10, 2014, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (the "SEC") temporarily suspended trading of GrowLife securities. In doing such, the SEC stated that "[t]he Commission temporarily suspended trading in the securities of PHOT because of questions that have been raised about the accuracy and adequacy of information in the marketplace and potentially manipulative transactions in PHOT's common stock."

On July 23, 2014, the Court issued an Order consolidating cases, appointing lead Plaintiff, and approving lead Counsel.

On March 26, 2015, the parties entered into a Stipulation of Settlement. The Settlement was preliminarily approved by the Court on April 27. On August 3, the Court granted final approval of the Settlement and entered Final Judgment. On June 4, 2018, the Court issued an Order granting the Motion for Distribution of Settlement funds.
