The Scuderi Group is a family-owned American company that says it is developing engine technology to sell to large engine manufacturers.

According to the law firm press release, the Complaint alleges that Scuderi Group offered and sold unregistered securities that were not exempt from registration, in violation of federal and Massachusetts laws. The Complaint also alleges that Scuderi Group made untrue statements of material fact and/or omitted material facts in the private placement memoranda by which the securities were sold. Various Scuderi family members are being sued for their roles in the offerings, and as control persons of Scuderi Group. The action is brought on behalf of both a nationwide class under federal law and a Massachusetts class under Massachusetts law.

An amended Complaint was filed on November 12, 2013.

Pursuant to a stipulation of the parties, the case was dismissed on August 5, 2016.
