Case Status:    DISMISSED
On or around 06/16/2016 (Court's order of dismissal)

Filing Date: May 09, 2011

According to a press release dated May 9, 2011, the action charges CHS and certain of its officers and directors with violations of Sections 10(b) and 20(a) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and Rule 10b-5 promulgated thereunder. The Complaint alleges that, throughout the Class Period, the Company's financial results were artificially inflated by virtue of the fact that CHS was systematically overcharging Medicare, one of its principal sources of revenue.

On December 28, 2011, the Court issued an Order adopting Magistrate Judge Knowles' Report and Recommendation. The cases are consolidated under lead case 3:11-cv-00433. Lead Plaintiff and lead counsel are approved.

On July 13, 2012, plaintiffs filed their consolidated class action complaint.

After mediation attempts were unsuccessful, plaintiffs filed an amended complaint on October 15, 2015.

On June 16, 2016, the Court issued an Order granting Defendants' motion to dismiss with prejudice.

About the Company & Securities Data

"Company" information provides the industry and sector classification and headquarters state for the primary company-defendant in the litigation. In general, "Securities" information provides the ticker symbol, market, and market status for the underlying securities at issue in the litigation.

In most cases, the primary company-defendant actually issued the securities that are the subject of the litigation, and the securities information and company information relate to the same entity. In a small subset of cases, however, the primary company-defendant is not the issuer (for example, cases against third party brokers/dealers), and the securities information and company information do not relate to the same entity.
