According to the docket dated October 31, 2001, on December 14, a court order granted motion for award of attorney fees and reimbursement of expenses...plaintiff's counsel are awarded attorneys' fees in an amount equal to 25% of the settlement fund which is defined in paragraph 1.22 of the stipulation of settlement...plaintiff's counsel shall be reimbursed for their expenses incurred in prosecuting this action on behalf of the Class in the total amount of $8,049.89. The court also gave Final Judgment and Order of Dismissal. The case is closed.

The original complaint alleges that HFS and certain current or former directors of Amre, Inc. violated Sections 10(b) and 20(a) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, by, among other things, misrepresenting and omitting material information concerning the strength and nature of Amre's relationship with HFS and the financial condition of Amre. The complaint alleges that as a result of HFS's withdrawal of financial and other support for Amre, the company was forced into bankruptcy. The complaint also alleges that while certain material information was concealed from investors, Amre insiders sold large blocks of Amre stock for profits of over $2.5 million.
