According to the Complaint, Frequency Therapeutics, Inc. is primarily focused on the development and commercialization of a hearing loss treatment called “FX-322.”

The Complaint alleges that throughout the Class Period, Defendants made materially false and misleading statements regarding the Company's business prospects. Specifically, the Complaint alleges that during the Class Period, Defendants misled investors about the Phase 2a study of FX-322.

On March 15, 2022, the Court issued an Order consolidating cases and appointing Lead Plaintiff and Counsel. All future docketing was ordered to be done in the lead case 21-CV-10933.

Lead Plaintiff filed a consolidated Complaint on May 16, 2022. Defendants filed a Motion to Dismiss the consolidated Complaint on July 15. On March 29, 2023, the Court issued an Order granting Defendants' Motion to dismiss. The case was dismissed with prejudice.

Lead Plaintiff filed a notice appealing the Court's Dismissal Order on April 27, 2023.
